Nogizaka46 ver. – MUSICAL SAILOR MOON – showcases transformation scenes at GenePro before going public

The Nogizaka46 version of the “MUSICAL SAILORMOON”, which is part of the 25th anniversary project of Takeuchi Naoko’s manga “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon” held their GenePro before the musical goes public on June 8th through June 24th at the Tennozu Ginga Theater and in September 21-30 at the TBS Akasaka ACT Theater.

Media got to see numerous scenes including a romantic kissing scene between Sailor Moon (portrayed by Yamashita Tsubaki) and Tuxedo Mask (Ishii Miko).  Action scenes with Sailor fighters against their enemies searching for the Phantom Silver Crystal.

The transformation scenes features video technology with projection mapping.

Ten people from Nogizaka46 have been chosen for two teams: Team Moon and Team Star.

TEAM MOON will consist of Yamashita Tsubaki, Itou Riria, Takayama Kazumi, Noujou Ami and Higuchi Hina.

TEAM STAR will consist of Inoue Sayuri, Watanabe Miria, Terada Ranze, Umezawa Minami and Nakada Kana.

To play the roll of Tuxedo Mask is fashion model Ishii Miko, who has experience playing the role of Sailor Pluto for the “MUSICAL SAILORMOON” in 2014-2015.  Nogizaka46’s Shiraishi Mai will be playing via holographic video as Queen Serenity.
