“Saint Oniisan” (Saint Young Men) drama visual image and VR is released

Starting in the fall, Piccoma TV will be airing the drama adaptation of “Saint Onisan” (aka “Saint Young Men”).

The drama will star Matsuyama Kenichi and Sometani Shota and to promote the drama, a visual image and VR was released.

“Saint Oniisan” (Saint Young Men) is a slice of life comedy manga series written and illustrated by Nakamura Hikaru (also the writer/illustrator for “Arakawa Under the Bridge”) which revolves around Jesus Chris and Gautama Buddha, who live as roommates in an apartment in Tokyo.

The manga is extremely popular and has sold over 10 million copies.  An anime film adaptation was released back in 2013 and a two-episode OVA was released back in 2012-2013.
