Southern All Stars to release new digital single “Sounen JUMP” on July 23rd and to perform on “Music Station” on July 20th

20 years after releasing their best album “Umi no Yeah!!” back in 1998 (which featured their hits from 1978-1998) for the band’s 20th anniversary, it was announced that for the band’s 40th anniversary, they will be releasing the album “Umi no Oh, Yeah!!”.

The new album to be released on August 1st will consist of music from 1998-2018.

Also to be released is their digital single “Sounen JUMP” (Sounen means “Prime of Life” or “the best time of life”) on July 23rd, following their digital single “Tatakau Senshi (mono) tachi e ai wo komete” which was released back on June 15th.

In addition, Southern All Stars will appear on TBS’ “Ongaku no Hi” (Music Day) on July 14th, TV Asahi’s “Music Station” on July 20th, FUJI TV’s “FNS Uta no Summer Festival” on July 25th.
