The South Korean trainees for the new global pop group IZ*ONE which includes Jang Wonyoung, Jo Yuri, Choi Yen, Ahn Yunjin, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hyewon, Kim Chae-won, Kim Minjoo and Lee Chae Yeon traveled to Japan on September 3rd to meet with AKB48 producer, Akimoto Yasushi.
It is not known if the nine members met with their three Japanese counterparts: HKT48’s Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki Nako and AKB48’s Honda Hitomi.
Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that the group’s first album will be released at the end of October.
