SKE48’s Matsui Jurina has made her return!

SKE48’s Matsui Jurina has made her return on September 6th.

Matsui made her surprise return at the birthday of SKE48 member Nojima Kano’s birthday for the TEAM S performance at SKE48 Theater.

When the curtains opened, out came a smiling Jurina which led to the audience cheering loudly.

Jurina cried and was in tears and said, “I did not want people to see my crying face.  I’m sorry for appearing at Kano-chan’s birthday.  Matsui bowed to the fans and apologized for the long awaited rest that she took.

While Matsui won 1st place in the AKB48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo, due to her poor health, she missed her birthday event and also didn’t sing in the AKB48 single “Sentimental Train”, nor did she appear in the video (an old video image was shown instead and drawings depicting her in storyboards and CG).

Matsui as leader also shared her voice of support for the victims of the Hokkaido earthquake.
