Chinen Rina posts an Instagram in regards to Amuro Namie’s retirement

Back in the mid-90’s, with the popularity of Amuro Namie’s solo career and the popular of MAX (formerly known as the SUPER MONKEY’S), 1996 would lead to the Okinawa explosion of talent with the introduction of the girl group, SPEED and music artist, Chinen Rina and the boy band, DA PUMP.  All who have studied at the Okinawa Actors School.

While Amuro Namie and MAX would appear on “The Yoru mo Hippare”, due to their popularity, this allowed the spotlight to be on Chinen Rina and SPEED.

Chinen Rina recently posted the following on Instagram in regards to Amuro Namie’s retirement:

I left Okinawa to follow you from behind.

Without Namie, there would be nothing.

I would not have spent my Sunday with my two sons like today.

I am think of Okinawa.

I sincerely thank you ♡ ♡ ♡

May all your days from tomorrow be happy.
