It was a surprise birthday for IZ*ONE’s Choi Yena on VLIVE!
It began with a birthday celebration at a bowling alley hosted by member Ahn Yujin and joined by Honda Hitomi, Kwon Eunbi, Kim Chaewon and Kang Hyewon. The five enjoyed playing bowling but then we see Jo Yuri, Jang Wonyoung, Lee Chaeyeon and Kim Minjoo silently bringing a cake to Choi Yena’s surprise.

IZ*ONE (pronounced as “Eyez One”/IZ=12 and the meaning is 12 members coming together as ONE) features Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, Ahn Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minjoo and Lee Chae Yeon.
The 12 members are the finalists of Mnet’s “Produce48” which began with 48 trainees from South Korea and 48 members of Japan’s AKB48G (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48).
Slated to make their music debut at the end of October, it was announced that the group will be starring in a reality TV show also in October on MNET.
