IZ*ONE fans surpass their goal of 40 million hearts on IZ*ONE’s blackscreen VLIVE in less than 24 hours, helps boost IZ*ONE’s latest VLIVE to over 73 million hearts

We reported about how IZ*ONE fans all over the world came together for almost 24 hours to give IZ*ONE’s latest video one of the most hearts ever.

As fans were able to get a blackscreen video past 40 million views, once IZ*ONE went live, the video went over 68 million hearts to its current 73 million hearts a few hours later.

As for the latest video, it was promoted as Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi learning Korean with a surprise guest.  The surprise guests turned out to be IZ*ONE members Jo Yuri and Kim Minjoo who helped teach the two Korean words, they gave Yabuki and Honda Korean names but also helped them out throughout the VLIVE and showing how the two are progressing with writing in Korean and also speaking in Korean. And even teaching them how to say words with an accent.

Also, the latest VLIVE gave viewers a short look of how far Jo Yuri and Kim Minjoo are with learning Japanese.

IZ*ONE (pronounced as “Eyez One”/IZ=12 and the meaning is 12 members coming togther as ONE) features Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, Ahn Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minjoo and Lee Chae Yeon.

The 12 members are the finalists of Mnet’s “Produce48” which began with 48 trainees from South Korea and 48 members of Japan’s AKB48G (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48).

Slated to make their music debut at the end of October, it was announced that the group will be starring in a reality TV show also in October on MNET.
