Southern All Stars vocalist Kuwata Keisuke is a big bowling fan (in fact, when he was younger he wanted to become a professional bowler) and it was announced that a large bowling tournament titled “KUWATA CUP 2019 ~Minna no Bowling Taikai~”.
But also, with Kuwata’s name, it should bring attention to the sport of bowling.
Bowlers will compete beginning on November 1st and 501 bowling centers in 47 prefectures. Those who get a high score will take part in a preliminary contest and those who advance will compete in the main competition at Tokyo Shinagawa Prince Hotel Bowling Center on February 9, 2019. And those who win the competition will move into the finals on February 10th at Tokyo Shibuya Hikarie in a special lane at Hall A.
Kuwata is also writing a song for this event. What kind of song will his love for bowling lead to?
