Terrace House: Opening New Doors Episode 37 – Two more leaving the house! (Spoiler Alert)

Before we begin, just a major spoiler alert for those who do not want to be spoiled about episode 37…

First the episode 37 teaser:

Yes…two people are leaving “Terrace House: Opening New Doors”…but how can this be?  So, many people left in the past few episodes right?

Well, the episode begins with Aya meeting Maya Amano who runs YEEEELL PR and with her interest in fashion and cosmetics, she is asked to join the company.  Will she do it?

Meanwhile, Shun is excited that Sota to bathe with him.

Aya hangs out with her housemate Yui and tells her about the opportunity she was given and when Yui asks if she is leaving the Terrace House, and Aya confirms that she is leaving to work.  Yui cries because she and Aya have become good friends and the two cry together.

Sota and Shun go out (date?), the two go out and ride a go-kart together, have a two-shot together and when they get home, Shun talks to Yui and Aya about his experience about whether or not he feels he likes guys or women.

Shun explains that he thought he was bi but now he found the answer he was looking for.  And so, because of that, he is planning to leave the Terrace House.

Aya asks him if it’s too quick (as he just started living there over a month ago).

But Shun explains that he was fortunate to find the answer and also be accepted by everyone.  No one said anything negative and he was happy to be in an environment where he was accepted.

As the housemates gather for dinner together, Aya explains that she is leaving the Terrace House that month and then Shun said he will graduate the same time as Aya, which shocks Maya and Sota.

Meanwhile, we see Kaito and Taka skateboarding and they talk about Yui and how she has changed (for the positive).

The group then goes out to a festival and watches the fireworks.

When Kaito is alone with Yui, he tells her that she looks cute wearing a yukata.

And then the group is seen on the day that they celebrate Aya and Shun leaving the Terrace House.  Each talking about their memories and the guys all taking a bath together late at night and while Shun was looking forward to it, the other two leave.

Who will be the next two housemates? We’ll find out next week.

But we’ll miss Aya and Shun:

Meanwhile, speaking of Sato Tsubasa… I’m now curious of the former Terrace House: OND housemate… How does she know a few of the members of AKB48 that well?

I learned that Tsubasa is a big AKB48 and SKE48 fan especially a big fan of Furuhata Nao. Before she used to be a fan who would watch them in concert and participate in handshake events but now thanks to “Terrace House: Opening New Doors”, it looks like she is hanging out with a few them now! How cool is that?
