AKB48/NGT48’s Kashiwagi Yuki to release her first solo single in five years, to be used in the opening theme of the drama “Kono koi wa tsumi nano ka!?”

It has been five years since AKB48/NGT48’s Kashiwagi Yuki has released a single, but it was announced that on December 5th, Kashiwagi’s single “Sokkenai Kimi” (you are incomprehensible), will be released digitally.

The song is the opening theme for the MBS/TBS drama “Kono koi wa tsumi nano ka!?” (Is this love a checkmate?) which stars Kashiwagi Yuki and fashion model, Ito Kentaro.

The drama is based on the manga of the same name which was published in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior series back in June 2018.

Kashiwagi plays a 32-year-old woman named Komada Tae who comes across a 24-year-old office worker named Kohinata Taiga, a man with no love experience, no social skills and no real purpose in life

But when Kohinata finds out that Komada is a pro shogi player, he starts to learn more about her world.
