Kana Nishino’s latest music video “Mama” is a tribute to her relationship with her mother

Nishino Kana has been called “The Most Popular Female Solo Artist Born in the Heisei Era” and Nishino has no doubt accomplished a lot in her ten years as a music artist.

With her ninth consecutive appearance on NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen next month and two best albums “Love Collection 2 ~pink~” and “Love Collection 2 ~mint~” released on November 21st, a new music video was released on YouTube titled “Mama”.

The new song features Nishino writing about her feeling towards her mother and how her feelings changed as she got older and the memories she had about her mother, going on a trip with her mother and a song that Nishino felt that she had to write immediately.
