Former Morning Musume Sayashi Riho’s contract with UP-FRONT PROMOTION has ended

Sayashi Riho (20) has finished her entertainment contract with UP-FRONT PROMOTION on November 30th (and officially graduated from Hello! Project) and announced on December 7th on the official Hello! Project website.

Once known as the group’s “Zetsutaiteki Ace” (Absolute Ace) when she was added to the group in 2011, Sayashi graduated from the group in December 2015 to pursue studying dance abroad.

Sayashi wrote that since graduating from Morning Musume, she studied in New York studying languages and dance.

Sayashi wrote, “I decided to leave UP-FRONT PROMOTION which I am indebted to since my debut, although I am being selfish, I wanted to take a break in order to move forward towards a new goal. I want to learn more things. So, I think I will move forward to start anew and continue on forward, so I can see you again.  I still want to sing more! I want to dance! I want to perform!  Please kindly watch over me”.
