IZ*ONE NEWS: IZ*ONE to debut their Japanese debut song on CDTV on New Year’s Eve special, teaser for upcoming AbemaTV Special and more!

Many have wondered if IZ*ONE would continue their hip style from “La Vie en Rose” to their upcoming Japanese single debut “Suki to Iwasetai” and the group recently showed us their new outfits on a CDTV promo and promoting their performance of their new song which airs on New Year’s Eve:

Considering that the Japanese and Korean style of outfits for idol groups tend to be a bit different, especially as Japanese idol images are more on the “kawaii” (cute) side, part of the allure of IZ*ONE is that they wore Chanel (or Chanel-style) and outfits that complimented their choreography.  So, it will be interesting to see what kind of vibe IZ*ONE’s Japanese single will be.

There are many comments to the CDTV posts about their outfits, many who feel it’s not as good as “La Vie en Rose”, while others are quick to point out that LVeR was geared towards a K-Pop audience, “Suki to Iwasetai” is geared to a J-Pop audience.

Meanwhile, a teaser of the IZ*ONE AbemaTV Special was released.  The special “Haijimemashite!! IZ*ONE no First Step in Japan” will debut on January 6th and the second part on the 13th:

Meanwhile, while IZ*ONE’s single is not until February 2018, pre-orders are quickly selling as people want the opportunity to take part in meeting the members or taking part of their debut showcase.

Tower Record Stores all over Japan have been promoting IZ*ONE’s upcoming Japan debut single:

As for IZ*ONE’s “La Vie en Rose”, the music video has now surpassed 46 million views and will more than likely reach 47 million before the New Year:
