Former SKE48 member Shibata Aya discussed Yamaguchi Maho’s assault on Abema news.

Shibata said, “I have been an active as a member of the sister group SKE48 for six years.  AKB48 groups tend to have a close relationship between the idol members and the fans but in this case, it was said “they were trying to scare her even if there was no malice.  Even if there was no malice, it is traumatic even for any ordinary girl.  If it happened to me, I would be afraid to go to work.  About the alarm that management will be paying, although I believe an alarm would be useful, I do not know that if it could have be triggered at the scene of the incident”.

“The fear which Yamaguchi-san has received, I can not express in words, it is more of a feeling of anger that the people arrested did not feel they did anything wrong.  There are many fans who are men, but the majority of them are afraid and were careful not to make me feel bad.  I have been supported by fans many times.  But I feel that those who would do such a thing (to assault a member), they are not fans”.
