TXT surpasses ITZY’s YouTube record for most viewed debut music video by a Korean music group

Back on October 29th, IZ*ONE’s “La Vie en Rose” garnered 4,559,202 views on YouTube in the first 24 hours by a debut music group, surpassing the March 2018 record set by Stray Kids for their music video “District 9”.

And on February 11th, ITZY surpassed IZ*ONE’s record with their debut music video “DALLA DALLA” as in the first 11 hours at (4,572,352) and by the end of the day, the group ended with 13,933,725 million views in 24 hours which is phenomenal!

And because of the number of views, we figured this record would stay for awhile.

Well, as of March 5th, Big Hit Entertainment’s (yes, the label responsible for BTS) new boyband TXT has surpassed ITZY’s record with their music video “Crown”.

TXT’s debut music video has now set the record on March 5th with 14,493,378 views in its first 24-hours which is phenomenal!  And as of right now the music video has over 15.8 million views!

Needless to say, with a few more debuts scheduled for 2019, it’ll be interesting to see if any group can surpass TXT’s record.
