Hosogai Kei apologizes to AKB48’s Minegishi Minami and her fans

When a tabloid photo of Hosogai Kei (34) caressing the face of AKB48 member, Minegishi Minami (26), needless to say that it started a small uproar.

Minegishi, known for shaving her head for violating AKB48’s strict no-date rule, has not commented, but Hosogai Kei quickly took to Twitter to post an apology to Minegishi and her fans.

この度、軽率な行動によりファンの皆様、関係各位の皆様にご迷惑をお掛けしまして申し訳ございません。また峯岸みなみさん、峯岸さんのファンの皆様にもご迷惑と不快な思いをさせてしまったことをお詫び致します。今後は誤解を招くような行動は慎み、ますます俳優業に邁進していく所存でございます。

Hosogai wrote, “I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused to the fans and everyone concerned for my careless behavior. I apologize to Minegishi Minami and Minegishi’s fans for making them feel bothered and uncomfortable. In the future, I will refrain from misleading actions and will continue to make efforts in focusing as an actor”.
