Model Hasegawa Jun announced on Instagram that she is now divorced

Hasegawa Jun is known for her role as a model and a mother of two children. She has posted photos of her family’s life in Hawaii and for the most part, many follow her Instagram and her podcast.

But with her most recent Instagram post, it was not the usual cheerful and happy message that people are accustomed to seeing:

この度私 長谷川潤は結婚生活にピリオドをうちました。 この8年間は幸せな事もたくさんありましたし、何より2人の子供を授かったことに感謝の気持ちしかありません。 時間をかけ話し合い、夫婦という形は解消することになりましたが、子供たちには今後も変わりなく父親と母親として協力し合いながら、たくさんの愛を持って暮らしていきたいと思います。 私たちのこれからの未来を温かく見守っていただけますよう、皆様どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。 . 長谷川潤

Hasegawa wrote on Instagram about her divorce, “I have had a lot of happy things happen in the last eight years and I am grateful to my ex-husband because I now have two children. We took the time to discuss about ending our role a couple and how we would like to continue to cooperate without change as father and mother and to continue to give our children a lot of love. We appreciate your warm support in the future”.

Hasegawa is half Japanese and half American.  She was born in New Hampshire before moving with her family to Hilo, Hawaii where she was scouted to become a model at the age of 14.  She was a model for “ViVi” since 2002 through 2010 and has appeared on the cover of many fashion magazines in Japan.

She married WAIOLA Coconut Water founder, David Lin back in 2011.  As for Lin, his Instagram is marked private and his bio now reads, “Best Father in the world is the legacy. Blessed to have two amazing humans Ivory and Evan”.
