All 29 members of STU48 will be taking part in the group’s third single

Typically, most AKB48G groups have a senbatsu in which a number of members are selected to take part in the main single.

But STU48, which is a group based on the Setouchi region, all 29 members (with the exception of inactive member, Mio) will be taking part in the group’s third single.

This is a rarity for the AKB48G senbatsu selection, but STU48 is also breaking new ground, becoming the first group in which their theater is on a boat.

STU48 captain Okada Nana (21) said, “Because it’s everyone in the group, I don’t think of it as a section of a selection but as everyone coming together at the same time to be united as one. It’s a great pleasure to be the captain, so I hope we can work together to make a wonderful song”.
