We reported several weeks ago about how Kitagawa Johnny (87), the president of Johnny’s Jimusho, the man known for producing many male idol groups including SMAP and ARASHI, was rushed to the hospital on June 18th.
A little after noon time, a 119 call was placed that Johnny had fallen. Many media gathered at the hospital but was taken to a different hospital and a lot of speculation has been progressing regarding to Kitagawa’s health.
It was revealed that Kitagawa was hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage (subarachnoid hemorrhage/cerebral aneurism).
On Sunday, members of ARASHI were asked about Kitagawa and Matsumoto Jun said that they all hoped for Kitagawa to have a quick recovery as soon as possible.
ARASHI was asked the question at their 20th anniversary exhibition in Roppongi.
