From episode 13, CAROLE & TUESDAY will feature new intro and outro songs by Cornelius and Lido!

Dedicated to music lovers around the world, this is a tale of a miracle brought about by two teenage girls, created by a top production team featuring Shinichiro Watanabe as supervising director, Eisaku Kubonouchi as original character designer, and animation production by Studio Bones.

Tokyo, July 3rd, 2019. Today, The upcoming episode 13 of CAROLE & TUESDAY, which will air on July 13 on Fuji TV’s +Ultra timeslot, will feature all-new intro and outro theme songs. The new intro theme song “Polly Jean” will be sung by Carole & Tuesday (Vo. Nai Br.XX & Celeina Ann), and the new outro theme song “Not Afraid” will be sung by Angela (Vo. Alisa). A new CD single/record containing these songs and featuring a cover illustration by Original Character Designer Eisaku Kubonouchi will be released on August 28.

“Polly Jean” is a song written by Keigo Oyamada AKA Cornelius, a musician who has done numerous remixes and collaborations with artists both at home and abroad. It’s a high-quality pop number that combines a heady sound with Nai Br.XX & Celeina Ann’s soothing tones.

“Not Afraid” is a song written by Lido, a trackmaker and multi-instrumentalist who has produced and remixed some of the most innovative music of the last decade. It’s an electro song that conveys a powerful sense of scale.
