“Lupin III THE FIRST” to be released in theaters on Deccember 6th

The CG animated film “Lupin III THE FIRST” was announced to be released in theaters in Japan on December 6th.

Written and directed by filmmaker/screenwriter Yamazaki Takashi (“STAND BY ME Doraemon”, “Dragon Quest Your Story”), the animated film will be the first feature-length animated film in 23 years and the first time in 3D CG.

Creator Monkey Punch, who passed away in April, had said that he was excited and couldn’t wait to see a 3D CG version of Lupin III and his fellow allies on film.
