Yaguchi Mari goes on maternity leave

Former Morning Musume member Yaguchi Mari (36) announced on her blog and SNS that she is on maternity leave.

At the end of work, her husband, staff and friends surprised her with a message and cake with fruit.

実は昨日から産休に入らせていただきました😊✨ ・ 一昨日の夜、お仕事終わりに旦那さんがサプライズしてくれましたよ😂✨お店に大好きな人達が集まってくれました。。。なんだかとても胸いっぱいになりました✨もう少し詳しくはブログに書いたので読みたい人だけどうぞ😋✨ ・ 産休中もＳＮＳは続けますのでよろしくお願いします😊✨

Yaguchi said she will miss the staff while on maternity leave but she is very thankful to everyone.

Yaguchi also said she will be a strong mother who won’t be depressed and will do her best.  After she gives birth to a healthy baby, she will power up and return.

She also said while on maternity leave, she will continue to post on her blog and on Instagram.
