Our message for KEIKO back in 2011 posted on SNS
globe was no doubt one of the most popular and successful groups from the ’90s.
Created and featuring music by Komuro Tetsuya (TK), the group would feature TK, vocalist KEIKO and rapper/DJ Marc Panther and the group which made their debut on August 9, 1995 would release the single “Feel Like Dance” and have a string of #1 hits.
TK and KEIKO would eventually get married but in 2011, KEIKO collapsed after a subarachnoid hemorrhage and continues to rehabilitate.
As for Komuro Tetsuya, he announced his retirement from the entertainment industry last year after a tabloid reported that he had an affair.
Marc Panther continues to keep the globe name alive with remixes but chances of a reunion are slim.
On the 24th anniversary of globe, KEIKO tweeted the following:
globeも、24歳か。。。
早いものですね。デビューの時の ステージは
今でも、鮮明に覚えて
います。。。globe愛してる💖

KEIKO tweeted, “globe is 24-years-old? Time passes so quickly. I still remember vividly of being on stage at the time of my debut. I love globe”.
Fellow globe member, Marc Panther, responded to KEIKO’s tweet:
I ❤️KCO#globe24th #globeForever https://t.co/giWPwaJeTS
