“UTAGE!” special broadcast on August 22nd to feature AKB48’s Okada Nana, Kashiwagi Yuki, Minegishi Minami, members of IZ*ONE and more!

The 11th “UTAGE!” special will be broadcast on August 22nd and will be a three hour special starting at 8:00 p.m.

The show will be featuring MC Nakai Masahiro and MC assistant Watanabe Mayu and the theme is “Reiwa Summer! Challenge Summer!”, so there will be collaborations and challenges taken on by artists.

The artists have been announced for the special. Okada Nana from AKB48, IZ*ONE’s Kwon Eunbi, Honda Hitomi, Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki have been announced for teh first time. In addition, artists such as Maekawa Kiyoshi, TOSHI, Takeda Tetsuya and other veterans will take part.

TOSHI and Takeda Tetsuya will take on the challenge of GReeeeeN’s “Kiseki” via acapella, with TOSHI challenging voice percussion and Takeda challenging rap.

Takami Hiroyuki and Busaiku will challenge Hikaru GENJI’s “Garasu no Judai” with the roller skates on.

Takeda Tetsuya and Maekawa Kiyoshi will take on the challenge of singing Kondo Masahiko’s “Sneaker Blues”.

Urai Kenji and Sakihi Miyu will challenge a musical and others will challenge the Aladdin song “A Whole New World” and much more!
