Worldwide reactions to EVERGLOW’s “Adios” music video

We are fans of the music of Everglow!

Ever since watching the show “Produce48” which led to IZ*ONE, we always wondered what would happen with Yehua trainees Wang Yiren and Kim Sihyeon (Choi Yena made it to the top 12 and became a member of IZ*ONE).

It didn’t take too long as both Yiren and Sihyeon along with Onda (who competed in “Idol School” which would lead to fromis_9), E:U, Mia and Aisha, all Yuehua Entertainment members, would form a group called Everglow and  would make their debut in March with the song “Bon Bon Chocolat”.

But when we got back from KCON LA 2019, we noticed that Everglow made their comeback on August 19th with their second album “Hush” and a new song “Adios”.

Let’s just say that we were floored by the music video because it was well-done and unexpected!

In less than one week,”Adios” has now surpassed 37 million views, compared to “Bon Bon Chocalat” which is at 38 million views in five months.

Needless to say, there are comparisons with BLACKPINK but for the most part, EVERGLOW’s “Adios” is a gamechanger and we can only look forward to what they have coming for their next mini-album.

I think everyone may think for rookie of the year for K-POP female groups, it’s a given that ITZY is the frontrunner but EVERGLOW has now positioned themselves as probably the top contender for the title.  It’s going to be interesting as the K-POP award shows are coming up in a few months!

While we loved the video when it first came out!  Instead of posting about it on the site (although we posted on Facebook of how we loved it more than “Bon Bon Chocolate”), we wanted to wait until reaction videos were made, and sure enough, the reaction that we felt, was being felt by people worldwide.
