CAROLE & TUESDAY’s Intro & Outro Themes: Polly Jean / Not Afraid released today! And a new character, Ezekiel to appear in episode 19!

Dedicated to music lovers around the world, this is a tale of a miracle brought about by two teenage girls, created by a top production team featuring Shinichiro Watanabe as supervising director, Eisaku Kubonouchi as original character designer, and animation production by Studio Bones.

The new intro and outro themes, Polly Jean & Not Afraid, were released today on CD, vinyl, and digital.“Polly Jean” is a song written by Keigo Oyamada AKA Cornelius, a musician who has done numerous remixes and collaborations with artists both at home and abroad. It’s a high-quality pop number that combines a heady sound with Nai Br.XX & Celeina Ann’s soothing tones. “Not Afraid” is a song written by Lido, a trackmaker and multi-instrumentalist who has produced and remixed some of the most innovative music of the last decade. It’s an electro song that conveys a powerful sense of scale.

 

The upcoming episode 19 of CAROLE & TUESDAY, which will air tonight on Fuji TV’s +Ultra timeslot, will feature a new character: Ezekiel (CV: Subaru Kimura), a rapper who leads a group of gangs.
