Nishikido Ryo (34) of the Johnny’s Jimusho group, Kanjani8 (and formerly of NEWS), will be leaving Johnny’s & Associates at the end of September.
It was revealed on the fan club website on September 5th.
Nishido commented, “I, Nishikido Ryo, will be leaving Johnny’s, which I have been indebted for 21 years, am leaving on the last day of September. Iwould like to rethink of what my role in entertainment is in my own way and wanting to be able to deliver and to be able to give it back. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me. And thank you Johnny from the bottom of my heart”.
This year, there have been rumors of Johnny’s groups, TOKIO and Kanjani8 possibly breaking up. But as of right now, those are just rumors.
