Flower’s Nakajima Mio is getting married and is pregnant, Flower announced they are disbanding

Flower’s Nakajima Mio (25) announced that she is pregnant and will be marrying soccer player Togashi Keima (26) and that she will be retiring from entertainment this year.

It was also decided that Flower will be disbanding this month.

According to the official Flower website, “with repeated discussions with members regarding Flower’s future activities, each member decided to move on to a new path and Flower will be disbanded this month.  We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the many people who have sent their love and support to Flower since its formation. I hope you will continue to support the members who are preparing for a new start”.

Nakajima wrote, “Because I started thinking about my future as well as with Flower, I started to think about what it is like to be a woman and decided to move away from this world and take a new path.  I’m sorry to have surprised you by reporting this so suddenly.  Thanks to the staff and fans who supported Flower, since we formed in 2010.  Your presence has always been my main driving force.  Thank you very much”.

Flower was a Japanese pop girl group that had their own activities but were also part of the dance and vocal unit collective girl group E-girls along with members of the group Happiness and Dream.
