Amuro Namie’s NHK 2016 Olympic and Paralympic broadcast theme song “Hero” has jumped to #1 on the USEN Request J-Pop HOT 30

Amuro Namie retired from the music industry in September 2018 and her music is still topping charts.

Her NHK Olympic and Paralympic broadcast theme song “Hero”  was used in the Rio de Janeiro broadcast back in 2016, has now jumped back to the #1 position three years later on the USEN Request J-Pop HOT30.

On September 20th, the day of Amuro Namie’s birthday, all her songs are now featured on major streaming services (Spotify, LINE MUSIC, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Rec Music, AWA, KKBOX, Rakuten Music, etc.) and her music continues to be loved by many fans a year after her retirement.
