“Aikatsu!!” to be released on Blu-ray

The anime series “Aikatsu!”, which aired on TV Tokyo from October 2012 through March 2016, will be receiving a Blu-ray release titled “Aikatsu! ALL SEASON Blu-ray Matsuri”, which will be released on March 3, 2020.

The Blu-ray release will feature 31-discs of all 178 episodes of the anime series and will be priced Y49,800 (not including tax).  The “Aikatsu!” animated film and “Aikatsu! Music Awards” will be included including an “Aikatsu!” card.

“Aikatsu!” is an anime series based on Bandai’s trading card game and the title is derived from the words “Idol Activity” and features a story about girls who go to idol schools and are struggling everyday to become top idols.
