Hinatazaka46 has been confirmed to perform at Kouhaku Uta Gassen (NHK’s New Year’s Eve music special).
The group has been around for four years but this is the first time invited since their name change from keyakizaka46 (lowerecase) to Hinatazaka46.
The group is the third zaka group after Nogizaka46 and Keyakizaka46 and it was said by an official that the group was selected based on both popularity and ability.
