“SONIC THE MOVIE” will be released in Japan on March 27th, fans happy that Sonic now actually looks like Sonic

When “Sonic the Movie” was first announced this past spring, needless to say, fans were angered that Sonic the Hedgehog looked nothing like the character of the popular video game series.

In Japan, the word “Kimoi” (disgusting) was used on SNS for the previous design, but it looks like Sonic now looks like Sonic and everyone is happy!

SEGA posted the announcement on their Twitter:
