Various media are reporting that Maezawa Yusaku (43) and Goriki Ayame (27) have broken up.
The couple have been together since April 2018 and many were critical of their relationship because of their age gap, and some felt their relationship of living the good life and being posted on SNS was not appropriate. Also because some were critical online that their relationship was affecting Maezawa’s ability to commit to work.
Back in September, Maezawa Yusaku resigned from his ZOZO Empire after a $3.7 billion deal with Yahoo! Japan. Maezawa sold 30% of his current 36% stake to Yahoo! Japan for $2.2 billion. Yahoo! Japan said it would put forward to shareholders an offer to buy up to a 50.1% stake in Zozo for $24 per share.
