Christmas in Tokyo 2019: WHITE KITTE 2019 (November 20 – December 25)

In America, we grown accustom to seeing huge Christmas trees.

My hometown still has a Christmas tree they put up right after Christmas near the downtown area and a lot of cities and towns celebrate with a huge Christmas Tree.

In Japan, Yebisu Garden Place has their big Christmas tree and right next to Tokyo Station, the KITTE shopping complex has theirs.

From November 20 – December 25th, the KITTE shopping complex will celebrate “WHITE KITTE 2019″ but unlike previous years of having a huge Christmas fir tree, the complex is planning to feature an all LED Christmas tree.

And the plans of what it will look like, actually looks very cool!

The plan is to feature two seasons of Japanese and western Christmas songs, the first season beginning on November 20th – December 5th and the second season from December 6th through December 25th from 5:10 p.m. to 10:40 p.m. and on Sundays/Holidays from 5:10 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.

And as always there will be a photo spot and more!

For those who are not familiar where KITTE is located, it’s right across the street from Tokyo Station (look for the big white building with a clock):
