Ikoma Rena, Jinnai Sho and Yabe Masaki to start in the “Akatsuki no Yona” stage sequel

Former Nogizaka46 member Ikoma Rena wil return on stage alongside DISH member Yabe Masaki and actor Jinnai Sho for the stage sequel of “Akatsuki no Yona” (a.k.a. “Yona of the Dawn”), based on the manga series by Kusanagi Mizuho.

The 2009 series received an anime adaptation in 2014 and Ikoma and Yabe starred in “Akatsuki no Yona ~Hiiro no Shukumei-hen”.

Ikoma stars as Yona, Yabe as Son Haku and Jinnai as Suwon and the title of the sequel is “Akatsuki no Yona ~Hoka no Inori-hen”.

All three were interviewed by excite Music.

Ikoma said, “Just the other day, I practiced for the first time but I feel that I can see more at this stage than last year.  This work is also a sequel, so we are all trying to make things better and we have time, so I think we can make it even better”.

Yabe said, “I am honored to have the same role in the sequel.  I feel like I want to attract something that has been powered up more than last time.  I think that if you are in the same role for the sequel, you are able to easily understand the growth of your role”.
