TBS’ “Bakuhou! The Friday” explores 12 years after the death of fashion model Yamaguchi Sayoko

Fashion model Yamaguchi Sayoko was one of the pioneer models from Japan who graced the pages of fashion magazines since the ’70s until her she passed away in August 2007 due to acute pneumonia at the age of 57.

On December 6th, the TBS series “Bakuhou! The Friday” looks into the model’s death an something from her unexpected past will be revealed.

In addition, the show will feature a video showcasing the model’s walking style at the Paris Collection. Also, the show managed to get information from a photographer who was in contact with Yamaguch before she passed away.   And the impact on the fashion industry are revealed by those working in the industry and those who photographed her.

And Yamaguchi’s last photo will be shown on television for the first time.
