Avex and TV Tokyo to collaborate in new audition program “Yoruyoung” (Yoruyan)

Avex and TV Tokyo will work together for the first time in 15 years for a new audition program titled “Yoruyoung” (Yoruyan) which will be broadcast on December 23.

The series is considered the successor to “ASAYAN” which ended in 2002.

Back in the ’90s, “ASAYAN” helped create groups Morning Musume, L*IS, D.O.S. and the shows featured Komuro Tetsuya and Tsunku as the producers.

For “Yoruyoung”, people can apply by uploading videos on TikTok or YouTube.  They can sing songs, write songs, play musical instruments, choreography/dancing, video production, etc.

The MC will be Popteen exlusive model, Nukumi Meru.
