Red Velvet’s Wendy was injured at “SBS Gayo Daejeon” Special, Mamamoo’s Solar falls

This is Red Velvet week with their December 23rd comeback featuring their new album “The ReVe Festival: Finale” and new song “Psycho” and on Christmas Day, Red Velvet was to perform on Seoul Broadcast System (SBS) “SBS Gayo DAejeon” special at Gocheok Sky Dome.

During rehearsals, Red Velvet’s Wendy fell off stage (2 meters = 6.5 feet) and was rushed to the hospital.

SM Entertainment sent a statement that Wendy suffered injuries to her face, a broken right pelvis and broken right wrist.

In addition, Solar of Mamamoo fell off stage during after an interview before the special and the video has made the rounds on SNS, both falls angering fans that the stages are unsafe for the artists. While SBS issued an apology, fans are still angered over the lack of safety concern.

Mamamoo was able to perform.
