Crowdfunding for “Ojamajo Doremi 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Day” project kicks off on January 8th

“Ojamajo Doremi” is a magical girl manga series by Todo Izumi and illustrator Takanashi Shizue and the anime series which was created by Toei Animation aired on TV Asahi from 1999-2003.

A screening event nationwide and a release of a new animated film scheduled for the summer of 2020 is planned but in order to make the 20th anniversary screening event happen, producer Seki Hiromi said money is needed in order to pay for transportation expenses and for fans to participate in fixed-scheduled events.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Ojamajo Doremi” , a crowdfunding project has been created titled “Ojamajodoremi 20-shunen-dai Kansha-sai” which will begin on January 8th.

The goal is to have screening events in Fukuoka, Sapporo, Sendai, Kyoto and Hiroshima.  For Tokyo, a special event is planned for May 6th at Tokyo International Forum Hall.

Scheduled to appear are seiyuu talents Chiba Chiemi (voice of Harukaze Doremi), Akiya Tomoko (voice of Fujiwara Hazuki), Mattsuoka Yuki (voice of Senoo Aiko), Shishido Rumi (voice of Segawa Onpo) and Miyahara Nami (voice of Asuka Momoko), Nagasawa Nao (voice of Majorika), Takamura Megumi (voice of Lala), Ishige Sawa (voice of Harukaze Poppu).
