“Gundam G no Reconguista ” Seiyyuu Ishii Mark leaves management, activities suspended indefinitely due to adaptation disorder

Seiyuu Ishii Mark, known for his debut seiyuu role as Bellri Zenam in “Gundam G no Reconguista” and as Chrono Shindo on “Cardfight!! Vanguard G” announced that he has left his management and activities have been suspended indefinitely for medical treatment.

Ishii announced that he has been diagnosed with an illness due to adaptation disorder (stress, feeling sad or hopeless and physical symptoms that can occur after going through a stressful life event).

Ishii said he was worried about his work and in consultation with a psychologist, he was diagnosed with a great tendency for development disorders such as ADHD and Asperger Syndrome.

Ishii said around November, when he got nervous, he would get stuck in the middle of conversations and would suddenly forget what he was talking about and would go into a panic trying to remember.

He was advised to take a leave of absence due to “adaptation disorder” and Ishii contacted his management about his diagnosis and how he had to suspend activities and leave the management office.

His management office, Just Pro announced the termination of Ishii’s management contract as Ishii will focus on medical treatment.

Ishii said that he is dedicated to his medical treatment and face his current disability and he hopes to return as soon as possible and asks for fans to continue to support him.
