Nakai Masahiro (47) announced on February 21st in a press conference in Tokyo that he was leaving Johnny’s Jimusho at the end of March. And that he will become independent and form his own company, “Nonbirina Kai”.
Nakai also said he is not leaving Johnny’s because of marriage. He emphasized there is no marriage and that he has no desire to get married. So, there is no marriage.
Nakai has been a member of Johnny’s since 1986 at the age of 14 and was a member of SMAP, the popular Johnny’s group which broke up three years ago.
When asked if there was a chance for a SMAP reunion, Nakai said “Between 1% and 99%, I think it’s not 0% and I can’t say it’s not 100%”.
