Why is Watanabe Mayuyu not appearing on TBS “UTAGE!”?

Former AKB48 member Watanabe Mayu has often been seen as the assistant MC to Nakai Masahiro for TBS “UTAGE!” and has been with the show since 2016.

But  recent broadcast, Watanabe was not seen and replacing her was Miyata Toshiya of Kis-My-Ft2.

Since last year, her office Production Ogi suspended fan club operations and her Twitter has not been updated since New Year’s Day of 2020.

Daily Shincho reported that Watanabe’s absence was due to her poor physical condition.

There are other rumors about why she has not appeared on media from pregnancy to an unsuccessful plastic surgery, some say she was dropped by TBS, another is that she is not motivated to appear but the truth is not yet clear.
