Singer and voice actor Hayami Kentaro best known for “Dango 3-Kyodai” has tested positive for COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
According to his management, Hayama had a fever on April 3rd and had coughing and other symptoms. Hayami also learned that an acquaintance had been infected which led him to want to get checked.
He visited a medical institution and on the 6th, nothing unusual was found with X-rays. But it turned out after he had a PCR test that he was infected with the coronavirus on April 7th.
Hayami has self-quarantined and his symptoms are stable, but he will be hospitalized as soon as arrangements are made at the hospital.
Hayami issued a statement, “I’m sorry for the inconvenience. My symptoms are getting better and I will try to make a full recovery”.
