As the countdown to Arashi’s suspension of activity at the end of the year is still months away, 2020 was supposed to be a year full of Arashi performances.
And with “Arafes 2020” scheduled for May 15-16 at Tokyo’s New National Stadium, Johnny’s Net (the official Johnny’s Jimusho website) announced that the event will be postponed.
Arashi has held a total of 15 performances at the previous National Stadium for eight consecutive years (2008-2013). “Arafes 2020” would be the first concert at the New National Stadium.
Also, “ARASHI EXHIBITION JOURNEY” for Osaka, Aichi and Fukuoka will be canceled for now.
In addition, performances by all Johnny’s groups scheduled now will be canceled through May 31st.
Arashi also reminded their fans to wash their hands and gargle. And they hope to see everyone again soon.
