Shukan Bunshun is reporting that Komuro Tetsuya has filed his claim for divorce with KEIKO

Shukan Bunshun is reporting that music producer Komuro Tetsuya (61) has filed a claim for divorce mediation with his wife KEIKO (47).

Both were known for being part of the music trio (along with Marc Panther), globe.

The first round of arbitration has begun by the Tokyo Court of Justice in early March.

Back in January 2018, when a tabloid outed the music producer having an affair with his live-in nurse, Komuro was asked if he and KEIKO will be divorcing and he replied “I don’t have that idea.  I want to talk with wife’s eyes”.

But not long after, after Komuro discussing his wife’s condition (back in October 2011, KEIKO suffered a brain hemorrhage), her family fought back and were upset of his response but also to show that KEIKO is doing better.

But according to the tabloid, Komuro and KEIKO still have not had contact with each other.

KEIKO met with a lawyer from the end of 2018 and filed a mediation request for living expenses while separated.  The cost of living expense was Y80,000 per month. Which it was reported in media that he rejected.  Tabloids reported that the two would settle in late January with an amount close to what she had requested.

The question is why Komuro is in a rush to divorce KEIKO?  Is the relationship with Komuro and the nurse still ongoing?

His lawyer was asked and a representative said, “I can not answer any questions regarding the mediation, but there is no fact that Komuro is paying a monthly fee of Y80,000 as he paid a considerable amount before.  I am pointing out that this is a one-way request for divorce.  There is no unfaithfulness or remarriage”.
