Asahi Shimbun Publishing Co., Ltd. has apologized to Darenogare Akemi for fake news article

Asahi Shimbun Publishing Co., Ltd. apologized for its inaccurate reporting which suggested that one of Japan’s top SNS influencers/model Darenogare Akemi did drugs in the past.  Asahi put a notice on their AERAdot. (dot.asahi.com) as a notice and not as a new article.  No headline (just aera.dot) and no apology mentioned but on the body of the text.

Asahi states, “The article has not been fully covered and the facts have not been confirmed and we take the criticism seriously, we will delete the article and we deeply apologize to Darenogare Akemi and LIBERA Corporation”.

Akemi took to SNS that if they wanted to apologize, they should send the correct and apology on their online news site.  Akemi wrote, “It’s easy to obtain fake news.  I’m sad because I can’t easily erase the negative image because of this article”.

本日、AERA dot.から返事が届きました。 フェイクニュースを出したAERA dot.と株式会社朝日新聞出版社のHPにおわびを掲載することと、直接謝罪に伺います。との返事が。 あんなに世間に薬物疑惑と広められたのに本当に誰も見てないような目立たない所にちょっとだけ謝罪文の掲載。。。 正直納得できないです。 AERA dot.のフェイクニュースでSNSで私がどれだけ嫌な思いをしたか、 両親がどんな気持ちだったか、ファンの皆様、仕事の関係者の皆様を不安にさせてしまったか。 せめて、本当に謝罪する気持ちがあるのなら、訂正、謝罪文をしっかりネットニュースとして配信してもらいたいです。 フェイクニュースを流す事は簡単です。 でも、この記事でついた私の負のイメージは簡単には消せないので悲しいです。
