Actress Nakatomi Anko takes theater to Zoom

While things are relaxing in Japan and certain areas are starting to reopen due to the novel coronavirus, the theater is one that has not yet opened but now people can enjoy performances on Zoom.

Actress Nakatomi Anko will star in the online theater of the “Online Nomi” series on Zoom. It costs Y550 (payable by credit card) to watch and the schedule of performances are featured on the “Online Nomi” website.

The story is set during the time of the novel coronavirus and university students have an online drinking party.  The women talk about love and current affairs.

Initially, it was planned for one day, but due to the reaction of the April 26th live event, 200 people watched and so a total of 21 long-run performances were announced.

The planning for the online theater brought together five performers (including Nakatomi), director and staff were all done online.
