teamLab Planets in Toyosu (Tokyo) to reopen on Friday, June 5th

teamLab has announced that TeamLab Planets in Toyosu will reopen to the public on June 5th.

As of right now, there are no details of when teamLab Borderless in Odaiba will open but have announced that they will be limiting to half or less than half the original number of people allowed into the building, temperatures will be taken, ventilation has been increased, the museum will go through disinfecting and restroom handdryers will not be available for use.

The company has announced the following guidelines prior to the opening of teamLab Planets this Friday:

1. Limit Admissions
teamLab Planets TOKYO will sell “pre-order” electronic tickets in 30-minute time slots with a specified date and time to ease visitor congestion. In addition, we are limiting the number of tickets available for each time slot and restricting admission to avoid overcrowding once we reopen.

2. Pre-Entry Measures
The following visitors will not be allowed to enter and will receive a full refund for their tickets. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

・Visitors who have any of the following symptoms:
Fever, cough, dyspnea, general malaise, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, lack of smell or taste,
pain or inflammation of the eyes, headache, joint or muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.

・Visitors who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in contact with an infected person.

・Visitors whose family members or housemates are suspected to be infected.
・Visitors who have returned from abroad or traveled within the past 2 weeks.

3. Measures at the Venue
・ Please wear a mask. In addition, we encourage everyone to follow proper coughing etiquette and to wash your hands or use alcohol hand sanitizer spray.
Sanitizer sprays are placed at multiple locations throughout the venue, so please be sure to use them.

・The museum staff will take your body temperature before entry by using a non-contact thermometer
system.
* If you have a fever, you will not be allowed to enter, and your ticket will be fully refunded.

・Marks are placed in the entrance line and at ticket vending machines to maintain sufficient social distance.

・Please maintain a distance of at least 2m from other visitors when experiencing the artworks in each space.

・If you test positive for COVID-19 after your visit, please contact us immediately.

・Temporary Artwork Closure
