Three employees at @home cafe in Akihabara tested positive for COVID-19

Inifinia Co., Ltd., the company which owns @home cafe in Akihabara announced that three of their employees were infected with COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).

The company is taking appropriate measures in cooperation with the public health center.

Employee A had a fever while returning home after working on June 19th and has not worked since then.  But he took a short break in the break room, because of this, employees who worked with the person that day were notified that they will be unable to work, regardless if they had limited or no heavy contact with the employee.

Employee B had a fever on June 23rd and has not worked since then.

Employee C had a fever on June 24th and has not worked since then.

All three took a PCR test and tested positive for COVID-19.

All employees were wearing masks during work and had no strong contacts with customers.

The cafe has been disinfected on the morning of June 25th. The rest area will now have a limited number of people to prevent heavy contact and the company is restarting operations.
